XCOM 2 Digital Deluxe Edition and Reinforcement Pack DLC Announced, "Retaliation" Trailer

Now that we're getting closer to the release of XCOM 2, which is still planned for February 5th, Firaxis and its publisher 2K Games have started releasing more information on the different editions for the game and the content they'll be launching for it in 2016.

Before we dive into the details, however, take a look at the new "Retaliation" trailer that 2K has released:

The game will come in both a standard and a Digital Deluxe edition, which costs $74.99 and includes a digital version of the soundtrack and the content of the Reinforcement Pack. The Reinforcement Pack will also be available separately and include DLC that will be made available throughout the year, with the first pack coming in Spring, essentially making it a Season Pass of sorts for the title:

Anarchy's Children: Rebellion-themed content with more dramatic soldier customizations. Available Spring 2016.

Alien Hunters: New gameplay highlighting an elite alien hunting unit of XCOM as it tracks down (Ruler) aliens, plus a new mission, additional soldier customization options and more powerful weapons and armor. Available Summer 2016.

Shen's Last Gift: Introduces a brand-new sixth soldier class with unique upgradeable weapons, armor and customization features, as well as an additional narrative-driven mission and map. Available Summer 2016.

Additionally, all pre-orders of the game will receive the Resistance Warrior Pack, a DLC that will add more cosmetic customization options for the XCOM soldiers.
