Bloodborne: Game of the Year Edition Announced in Europe

Sony has announced the release of a Game of the Year Edition for Bloodborne in Europe. This Game of the Year Edition will include both the base game and The Old Hunters DLC and is slated for a November 27 release, presumably for the same price as the base game. There is no news as to whether this edition will come out in other territories too, though it's very probably, considering that a very similar edition of the game titled The Old Hunters is coming to Japan too.

The Old Hunters DLC for Bloodborne was announced last month at Tokyo Game Show, and has been repeatedly referenced by Sony as a full-fledged expansion for the title. The DLC is currently expected to be released on November 24 for $19.99/€14.99/£11.99, and is very likely to be the only DLC for the title, as From Software decided to opt for a single, meatier release instead of two separate DLC packs.

Here's a refresher on what the developers at From Software plan to add with The Old Hunters DLC:

As detailed last month, The Old Hunters challenges players to explore entirely new environments, including a monolithic clock tower, filled with Bloodborne's traditional blend of risk, reward and frightening boss encounters.

In addition to new environments, you'll also gain access to new outfits and weapons to bolster your beast-battling arsenal, including a fearsome new ranged weapon called Simon's Bowblade. On top of this, The Old Hunters also offers players the ability to go native and transform into terrifying beasts.
