World of Warcraft's Sixth Expansion to be Announced This Week

Blizzard Entertainment certainly has no intentions of keeping their Gamescom plans secret, as they've sent over a brief notice alerting us to the fact that a new World of Warcraft expansion pack will be announced on Thursday, August 6th during the Europe-based event. We'll want to keep our eyes on their official reveal website for the latest details, as it wouldn't surprise me if there are some Diablo-related announcements forthcoming, too:

Blizzard will be unveiling the next expansion for World of Warcraft at gamescom 2015 in Cologne, Germany. We hope you'll join us at our booth in Hall 7 of the Koelnmesse to watch the announcement live on Thursday, August 6 at 18:00 CEST.
An area has been set aside for media in our Heroes of the Storm gaming zone for a clearer view of the stage. Please access the area via the exit and be sure to get there early as space is limited.
The reveal event will also be streamed live on www.blizzgc.com .
