Dark Souls/Demon's Souls Director Appointed as From Software's President

According to a NeoGAF translation of a Dengeki Online article, Hidetaka Miyazaki, the director of Demon's Souls and Dark Souls (but not of its sequel), has been appointed president of From Software:
From Software announced the appointment of Mr. Hidetaka Miyazaki as president on May 21st.
Since joining From in 2004, Miyazaki's roles include stints as director of Armored Core For Answer and producer of Dark Souls.
Former president Naotoshi Jin will remain with the company in an advisory role..."
It remains to be seen how exactly this will affect the Japanese developer (which has also recently been acquired by publisher Kadokawa) and whether Miyazaki will continue personally directing projects or move to a more detached, supervising role.
