Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition Preview

GameInformer has published a brief preview for Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition, the PS4 port of Diablo III, which also includes the Reaper of Souls expansion. They sound excited about some of the additions:

The most interesting addition is probably the Nemesis system. Let's say a monster ends up killing me - There's a chance it could level up and then move into one of my friend's games. From there it could potentially continue to leave a path of bloodshed and wreckage as it grows stronger and stronger and moving from game to game. This can end in two ways - With the monster eventually dying and shooting out some loot for all players involved in the Nemesis's rise and fall, or the monster eventually just capping out on growth and exiting the world. On hardcore mode, the cap will likely be set even lower as a Nemesis encounter will likely be incredibly terrifying on that difficulty setting.

Players will be able to send each other gifts via the mail system, and even (apprentice) one another. If we start playing characters at the same time but then I decide I want to roll a new class and I'm only level 10, that won't stop us from playing together - I'll be temporarily boosted to your level for our gameplay session and I'll pick up a bit of bonus experience while we travel together (My loot drops will be for my base, not boosted, level).
