Grimoire IndieGoGo Campaign Updates #1 and #2, $5,000 and Counting

There are two updates to read through from Mr. Cleve Blakemore in the Grimoire: Heralds of the Winged Exemplar IndieGoGo campaign, during which the 17-year designer discusses the work that's gone into increasing the game to a 1024x768 resolution and reveals that pledges of $75 or more will grant access to a monthly beta build. Word is:
Lots to still fix for this resolution. Portrait now has room for it's own custom frame instead of the 2 pixel border it has around it now. Buttons will be larger on character plate in general, this will make it easier on the IPad when it gets ported amongst other things.

It is also likely this new configuration of the UI will see the game icons (yellow buttons above text window) move to left and right sides, permitting the text window to be much larger.

Very likely a night-day time bar will appear on this screen to show you what time of day or night it is. This is only the first stable version we have for this resolution and there is still a bit of ongoing work to do adjusting other elements of the UI.

...

I think all pledges $75 or above ((Pilgrim)) will get beta access on a monthly issue starting end of November and continuing through to April when the last polish is put on the game.

If you play it until you are sick of it you have nobody but yourself to blame. It will demonstrate continuous progress towards completion.

I have a lot to do in November to adapt everything for the new resolution and to see if we can eliminate all the serious (bugs) (not gameplay balance issues but real bugs) before the beta goes out to pledges.

These beta copies may be burned with your personalized details to detect leaks, I think I have a utility around that does this. Just warning you that the copy you get may be traceable so please don't leak it to people who did not pledge. Taking screenshots will be okay and doing walkthroughs will be up to you.
