In comic-like fashion, we're briefed on the attack at Caer Morhen, Geralt's visit to Vizima and its outskirts, the unrest between the Salamandra and the Scoia'tael, the hunt for Jacques de Aldersberg, and the witcher assassin who attempted to kill King Foltest:
