BioWare Co-Founders Continue to Hint at a Jade Empire Sequel

Between the artwork that leaked awhile back, the LinkedIn profile of designer Rafael Jabulani Brown, and various anonymous sources, we already know that a Jade Empire 2 was in development and potentially cancelled at on time in BioWare's history. During the recent Eurogamer Expo, though, BioWare co-founders Ray Muzyka and Greg Zeschuk seemed to suggest that a sequel to the action RPG might eventually become a reality:
"We've been talking a lot about that actually on and off over the years," said Ray Muzyka, BioWare CEO.

"It's an IP, it's a setting that we're really passionate about, and we still are. Both Greg and I were big believers in the IP.

"We're just looking for the right way to deploy it."

"We have a lot of different projects now on a lot of different platforms, and you might see some of that [Jade Empire] in the future. You never know.

"We don't have anything to announce on it right now," Muzyka added, "but it is a franchise that's near and dear to us."
