Dungeons & Dragons Daggerdale Preview

Since we really don't know a whole lot about Bedlam Games' Dungeons & Dragons Daggerdale yet, this mini hands-on preview at GamePro is worth checking out. The bullet points:
'¢ The role-playing part is narrow, but it's still a big part of gameplay. Players can choose one of four pre-rolled characters (Elven rogue, Human fighter, Halfling wizard, Dwarven battle priest) and customize them throughout the game by leveling up powers and class-specific traits.

'¢ You can have two different sets of abilities, powers, or weapons mapped to the face buttons -- to bring up the second set, squeeze Left Trigger and then go for the face buttons.

'¢ Daggerdale is meant for multiplayer co-op. On Xbox Live, the game supports two-player local co-op and four player online co-op.

'¢ The game uses Dungeons & Dragons 4th Edition rules.

'¢ Yes, it's "like" Gauntlet -- but who's complaining?
If you're in the market for a bite-sized, XBLA-exclusive D&D dungeon crawler, Daggerdale should do the trick.
