Did we miss anything during this quest? Is there something we didn't discover? Let us know!

While we've listed this quest as the third one on the Fighters Guild list, you can actually receive it as your first if you speak with Burz gro-Khash in Cheydinhal about a contract before speaking with Azzan in Anvil. It doesn't matter what order you decide to take on the quests, so go ahead and complete this one as soon as you receive it.

Burz gro-Khash doesn't give you a whole lot of information about the quest, other than a gruff order to deliver a weapons shipment to the Desolate Mine. He then hands you a Steel Warhammer, a Steel Longsword, and a Steel Bow and send you on your way.

The Desolate Mine is located just to the northwest of Cheydinhal. You'll most likely have to face off against a couple of goblins outside the entrance, so make short work of them and then head inside. Just down the main tunnel you'll come across three soldiers standing around a campfire. Speak with Rienna and tell her that you're here with their weapons shipment. She'll take the bow off your hands, and then send you to the other two soldiers. Brag gro-Bharg will relieve you of the hammer and Elidor will take the sword. Once they all have the appropriate weapons, you'll receive a Mine Key and a journal entry telling you to help them clear the mine of goblins.

Clearing out the mine really isn't that tough, but you want to keep the other three soldiers alive to maximize your reward. It sounds easy, but considering the close quarters within the mine, you may even find yourself dishing out some pain to one of them without even meaning to. Try to focus goblins that none of the other three are fighting with to avoid this problem and all of the soldiers should make it through the battle alive. Once all the goblins are dead, leave the mine and report back to Burz gro-Khash in Cheydinhal.

Burz is pleased to hear that you delivered the weapons and hands you 500 Gold for your services. If any of the soldiers died during the battle, he will know about it, and will offer you a lesser reward instead (400 Gold for one death, for example). If this is the first quest you've done for the Fighters Guild, ask him for advancement and he'll promote you to Apprentice. If you've already completed the A Rat Problem and The Unfortunate Shopkeeper quests for Azzan in Anvil, then this promotion is to the rank of Journeyman instead. Depending on whether or not you've completed the two quests in Anvil yet, Burz will either send you there or trigger the Unfinished Business quest by sending you to Vilena Donton in Chorrol.
