King Arthur: The Role-playing Wargame - The Saxons Review

Computer Games Romania has treated us to a pretty favorable review of The Saxons, giving NeoCore Games' King Arthur expansion pack an overall score of 78/100. They do spotlight a couple of issues, though:
What I do consider a down-side, however, is the missing DLCs that were already released. I don't know why the producers chose not add the extra heroes, quests and artifacts into this expansion, considering they would have been easy to integrate into the gameplay and would have provided a bonus for the replay value if not used all at once. The long loading screens and the occasional crash-to-desktop can also be written in the (bummer) category, especially since I have noticed that this expansion runs a bit slower than its predecessor on the same PC.

The Multiplayer option is wonderful, but in name only. There is not a single official server listed, as opposed to how it's advertised on Steam, and there is no lobby, so players need to connect the old-fashion way, (Duke Nukem 3D over serial port) style. Furthermore, out of three different game modes (Standard, Arcade and Tactical) only one appears to have a pulse, barely. The game holds its own in single-player, no doubt about it, but it's unpleasant to see that an important feature such as the Multiplayer is clinically dead.
