gPotato hit us up with a press release this morning announcing plans to re-open the popular Drakos Tower dungeon in Dragonica, now that the game's Paris Strikes Back update has nestled in.
Dragonica: Drakos Tower is back with a vengeance

Huge 50-floor dungeon tower reopens

For Immediate Release

Dublin, Ireland, 22nd July Dragonica, the free manga-style online action game from the gPotato games portal, will be boosted by the reopening of majestic Drakos Tower, only a few weeks after the long-awaited Paris Strikes Back expansion.

On July 22nd, the dark witch Paris gathers a whole new army of minions in the European version of Dragonica. Earlier this year already, she had attempted to launch an attack from the gloomy corridors of Drakos Tower. Now, she strikes again, with even more challenges for the heroes attempting to fight to stop her terrible plans. Fifty floors with endless dark corners will send a shiver up anyone's spine, not to mention the creatures lurking amongst them. An unsettling air surrounds the tower, and many heroes will struggle to conquer the different floors of the huge dungeon, guarded by new eerie monsters with unknown powers.

Previously, Drakos Tower quickly became a well-known adventuring spot for the more advanced heroes of Level 53 and above to prove themselves. Thanks to the heroes of Dragotaka, Paris was defeated and Drakos Tower lay forgotten for a few months. Lately however, rumours have been surfacing that terrible beings have started to build even bigger defences. Names like Gaiden, Kimat and Antares have been heard and in the shadows of the night, some villagers are said to have seen horrifying elite monsters creeping towards the tower, coming to serve their dark queen. Now, in what was once the prison of the dark Dragon Lord Elga, Dragotaka's darkest creatures are preparing for the biggest battleground their world has ever seen.

First reports have been terrifying: bruised, burnt and badly injured war heroes telling of 50 levels of intense challenges. Only the skilled and brave ones are able to reach the portals to travel between floors. But even then, the sheer terror of the dark witch Paris, whom the heroes have to face in the final battle, is too much for some. Only the strongest will be victorious. All towns in Dragotaka are now appealing to their best heroes to come forth. Do you have what it takes to join the Dragon Fellowship in their most challenging quest yet: the defeat of Paris!
