Dragon Age: Origins - Awakening Reviews

A couple of late reviews for BioWare's Dragon Age: Origins - Awakening expansion pack have arrived, starting with Original Gamer where the final score is an 8.0/10:
Dragon Age had me really get in touch with my inner D&D, and the Awakening expansion pack just furthers it. Being able to level up higher, finding and using rare and powerful equipment, and fighting the Darkspawn, this expansion pack adds to the fun. The over-13 hours of new gameplay may sound short but it is just enough to add on to the experience. Now I highly recommend that you play through Origins first, since transferring an already made character is much easier, and will be able to jump right into the action. Playing the expansion from the first game will truly give a great Dragon Age experience.

And then Game Kudos also hands out an 8.0/10:
A fair warning to those of you who weren't playing RPG games when they were primarily exclusive to PC gaming, this is not going to suddenly change the entire game for you; if you didn't like Dragon Age Origins, you won't like Awakening, but if you did, this should be right up your street.

However, it's worth pointing out that Game Kudos has also recently reviewed Dragon Age: Origins, arriving at a lower score of 7.5/10:
Dragon Age: Origins is, overall, an RPG fan's dream and Bioware's efforts to make the genre more accessible to gamers not usually drawn to such titles is noteworthy. With a long primary story and hours of side quests, Dragon Age: Origins is great value for money, though it does fall short in other areas, such as the graphical department. Fans of the genre should definitely give Dragon Age a spin, and it's also recommended those who aren't too familiar should also at least give it a rental.
