Fable III Preview

Rather than post a conventional preview, Explicit Gamer has wrangled up a list of ten gameplay elements that Lionhead Studios is including in their next Fable sequel. You know, the one that's hitting both the Xbox 360 and PC:
#7: Your body grows and changes like a real person

Apparently one of the biggest complaints about Fable 2 was that the women all looked like huge sumo wrestlers, and the growth of people was unrealistic and stupid. In Fable 3, using swords will buff your muscles, hammers buff them up even more. Magic changes complexion, eating food makes you fat, and having followers makes you look more powerful. Making it's return from Fable 2 is the ability to have devilish horns. If you want them, be an ass.

#5: Gone are the old fashioned 2D menus

Yep, throughout Fable 3 you will see no boring 2D menus. Instead, pressing start teleports you to you own guild chambers, which consists of many rooms that take the place of each 2D menu from the previous game. Entering the weaponry and armory room allows you to change, you guessed it, weapons and armor. Entering the magic room allows you to change spells. The map has also been replaced, now consisted of a 3D pedestal, allowing you to use a magnifying glass to zoom in and out of each town and see it in real time. Creepy or cool?
