Star Wolves 3: Civil War Reviews

Reviews for 1C and Elite Games Team's sci-fi strategy/RPG sequel Star Wolves 3: Civil War have begun to surface, though they're not quite as enthusiastic as we might have hoped.

WeDoTech gives the game a 2/5:
Star Wolves 3 is very much your traditional RPG. You visit locations, talk to characters, acquire missions, get paid, upgrade your equipment and repeat the process until you finish the game. There is nothing wrong with that at all and indeed Star Wolves 3 has at least the potential to be a good old-fashioned RPG experience in space, it just hasn't been given enough attention to fulfil that potential as of yet. Now this game was developed by Elite Games Team and published by 1C Company and I really hope they don't just let this game rot after its release. They need to guide their baby just a few steps further. In less pretentious terms, they need to patch the thing.

GameZone gives the game a 4.0/10:
Star Wolves 3 could have potentially been a good game, but its cons much outweigh its pros, and ends up being a boring trek through open space.

And GameOn gives it a 6/10:
Despite its flaws, there's nothing game breaking; for anyone that can cope with the combination of little issues, there's plenty of fun and challenge to be had with the multitude of upgrade and customisation options, as well as a twisting storyline that can be played through a number of different ways.
