Stonekeep Coming to the Wii

Well, I didn't see this one coming. Interplay sent out a press release today announcing a partnership with Alpine Studios to bring the classic 1995 CRPG Stonekeep to Nintendo's WiiWare distribution platform. No pricing information is available, but it'll be interesting to see how this one turns out:

(January 11th, 2010) Interplay Entertainment Corp. and Alpine Studios today announce their partnership to revive Stonekeep, the hit PC game originally published by Interplay.

The new Stonekeep is expected for initial release during the third quarter of 2010 and is planned for electronic distribution through Nintendo's WiiWareâ„¢ service.
