If you never picked up Gothic 3 back in 2006, then you might be interested in knowing that it's now available on Steam for $19.99.  Unfortunately, that's double what the retail version of the Gothic 3 Collector's Edition (which includes the Gothic 3: Forsaken Gods expansion) will run you.

Maybe it will be included in one of those $5 deals in the near future...
