Dragon Age: Origins v1.01a Patch Released

BioWare has already released their first patch for Dragon Age: Origins, though some of you hardcore types might want to hold off on installing it as it makes the game easier on the "Easy" difficulty setting and increases some of your party characters' statistics on the "Normal" difficulty setting. The v1.01 notes:
'¢ fixed potential corruption of character statistics
'¢ fixed portrait appearance sliders when importing a character from the downloadable Character Creator
'¢ fixed import for preset face settings from the downloadable Character Creator
'¢ made Easy difficulty easier
'¢ slightly increased attack, defense, and damage scores for all party members at Normal difficulty
'¢ fixed video issues when running on a very wide screen display, including ATI Eyefinity displays
I'm enjoying the reasonable amount of challenge on "Normal", so I'm not sure why such tweaks were necessary.
