Fallout 3 Mothership Zeta DLC Reviews

Yet another handful of Mothership Zeta reviews are now available for your scrutiny, assuming you haven't grown tired of reading through them just yet.

GamePro considers it to be worthy of a 3.5/5:
While not without value, instead of wrapping up my time in the Capital Wastelands in a nice big irradiated bow, Mothership Zeta just left me wondering how much fun being in space could've been.

GamingShogun tosses out the scoring idea:
Mothership Zeta retails for 800 Microsoft Points on the Xbox LIVE and Games for Windows LIVE Marketplaces and is available now. It provides a unique adventure in the Fallout universe that we have yet to experience before and, while feeling a bit short, gives you a ton of new technology to take back with you to terra firma, should you survive. And watch where you point that Death Ray for cripes sake!

Planet Xbox 360 doesn't think a score is necessary, either:
The Xenotech perk revolves around adding strength to using alien weapons something not so common and the only real reason to return to the spacecraft is to repair your items for cheap. The ship doesn't provide a whole lot of room for exploration and the three quests in question are a wash since there are no alternative options on how to complete them. It's a shame that Mothership Zeta boils down to such a straightforward add-on. It's unfortunate that the last DLC pack for Fallout 3 didn't end with a bang. If gamers have bought the previous four add-ons, I see no reason why they shouldn't buy Mothership Zeta. It's a one-and-done type of add-on a type of complaint that will be easily overlooked by fans who are still playing Fallout 3 on a weekly basis. (Mothership Zeta) is basically meant for the diehard fans and them alone; especially at the price of 800 MS Points. Even so it's great to see a developer/publisher support a game this far after it's release and while the latest DLC may not be the best there is still plenty of content worth checking out via the Xbox LIVE Marketplace.

And Platform Nation sides with the scoreless theme, too:
If you can get past the linear nature of Mothership Zeta, and the inability to return to the ship once you finish the mission, you will find a very fun and unique Fallout 3 experience.
