Fallout 3 Mothership Zeta DLC Reviews

A third wave of Mothership Zeta reviews has hit the Internet, so I hope you're not tired of reading through them just yet.

WorthPlaying goes with a 5.5/10:
Players who are more interested in stuff than substance will find plenty here to fill their pockets, but the title's sci-fi action and potential for humor are lost beneath the endless battle that nearly put me to sleep toward the end, thanks to a mouse-led metronome of clicks. It was all the more disappointing considering the other directions that could have been explored in the cold vacuum of space as offered up by the tantalizing hints that appeared in the first two Fallout titles. Fallout 3: Mothership Zeta is one side story that Wasteland warriors can afford to survive without.

Digital Battle hands out a 6/10:
However, this DLC is far too linear and can be completed in a few hours, which, for $10, seems a bit too shallow. If you're looking to buy your first Fallout 3 DLC, Mothership Zeta is not the one, but if you're a die hard Fallout 3 fan, you should certainly check it out. Heck, if you're a die hard fan, you probably already have.

IncGamers goes with a 6/10, too:
This is not the best episode of Fallout 3 DLC by a long shot, but it does offer some fun for Fallout fans. Albeit short (easily completed in a couple of hours), very buggy and repetitive, it's still Fallout 3 and you are killing little green men, thus redeeming points in my book.

And TeamXbox just throws together some impressions:
As with Fallout 3's previous DLC adventures, there's a sameness to Mothership Zeta, but there's also some nice variety. For the price, it's a fun addition that'll bring you back to the Wasteland for some more combat, tension and thrills. And if this is truly the last chapter in the Fallout 3 saga, we'll be adding Fallout 4 (or the Fallout MMO.or whatever the next installment will be) to our gaming wish list. It can't come too soon for our liking.
