Why did you choose to go with the original UO artwork instead of the KR (Kingdom Reborn) artwork for the new client?

Most players felt that the KR environment art did not capture the true spirit of UO. There were also a large number of problems with this art. The original UO art is great and is guaranteed to provide you with a consistent user experience. Our main focus with the new client was stability and ease of use. Now we haven't thrown away the KR art. Keep in mind we do use some KR art for certain areas of the game, such as terrain, waterfalls and special effects. We are always investigating ways to continue to enhance the graphical experience of the new client.
