GameDaily's Top 25 Sequels

The editors at GameDaily bring us a list of what they feel are the best video game sequels ever developed. Baldur's Gate II is an obvious omission, but at least we get EverQuest II, System Shock 2, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II, and Diablo II:
Before committing years of our life to Blizzard's World of Warcraft, we devoted much of our time to another one of the company's hits, Diablo II. This fantasy driven hack and slash adventure added five distinct character classes (Amazon, Barbarian, Sorceress, Paladin, Necromancer) and dungeons full of monsters and loot. Playing solo (in between work, no less) kept us entertained, but the game achieved digital crack status when we partied up with seven other players online and went on raids. Diablo III can't come soon enough.
