Fable II See the Future DLC Reviews

A few more reviews of Lionhead Studios' newly released See the Future add-on for Fable II are now available for your scrutiny.

First up is IGN, where they've given it a 6.0/10:
See the Future may not cost as much as Knothole Island, but that doesn't mean you're getting a deal. There really isn't enough here to warrant the 560 Microsoft point price tag as you can see and do everything in less than a few hours. The two new quests are fun, but the brevity of the download and the lame hint at the future left me feeling let down.

Then we have Strategy Informer with a score of 8.2/10:
If you're a Fable II fan we really don't think you'll be disappointed with See the Future, at 560 Points it's just the right amount of money for a two to four hour experience. It's charming, funny and reveals quite a lot about what's to come. Sure, you'll be finished with the main storyline in just a few hours but the excellent Achievements really will provide the passive obsessives amongst us with a suitable challenge. And now, with that said and without giving anything away, does anyone know where we can re-buy a chicken suit? We need one to complete a rather tricky challenge!

Followed by Sarcastic Gamer with no score:
Of course, your inner collector will be satisfied by a veritable bevy of new items and hair styles (as well as the ability to change your dogs breed), but compared to the excellent Knothole Island, this all seems a bit disjointed. With no one area that needs saving, or far off objective to work towards, the quests lack purpose, and ultimately feel inconsequential and pointless. It's as if Lionhead took a bunch of ideas they were toying with, and tossed them into one 560 package. There are some great things here, there really are, but none of them ever amount to anything so the whole thing lacks coherence and is dull as a result. It's ironic then that, while Murgo's wares are cheap, but hide inconceivable value, See the Future is cheap.and hides nothing.
