As far as we're concerned there's only one possible franchise out there that has the possibility of being a contender of taking some of World of Warcraft's MMO plunder, and that's Star Wars. BioWare are, of course, RPG lords and are more than aptly qualified to bring Star Wars to a glorious return to MMORPG land (they also made the original Knights of the Old Republic game). The Old Republic is set thousands of years before Jar Jar Binks and Kiwi clone troopers, where Sith and Jedi weigh in with their own armies in an MMO that allows you to create your own Star Wars story.
