Puzzle Quest: Galactrix Reviews

Another handful of favorable Puzzle Quest: Galactrix reviews bring us into the weekend.

First up is IGN, where the score is an 8.5/10:
Infinite Interactive took what worked in Puzzle Quest and expanded it into an even bigger, longer game. That means if you are a fan of PQ, Galactrix will hook you all over again. The zero gravity puzzle game is slightly more complex, and there is an entire galaxy of quests, mini-games, and characters to get lost in. Plus, the music is fantastic. The developers really hit on something with the Puzzle Quest formula, and I'll be on board as long as they can keep it engrossing.

Then we have Giant Bomb at 3/5:
Outside of the puzzle action there are even more systems to contend with, such as a faction system that impacts who will attack you and who you can trade with, and a byzantine leapgate map system. Infinite Interactive seems to have lost sight of the approachability that made Puzzle Quest endearing, and Galactrix is simply more demanding than it should be. The first Puzzle Quest was a revelation; Galactrix is just a complication.

And Games Radar at 8/10:
Its handful of setbacks slightly outweigh its improvements, but Galactrix still offers an addictive, puzzle-meets-RPG experience that won't disappoint most fans of the original PQ, as well as anyone looking for an accessible game that still packs plenty of substance.
