Fallout 3 The Pitt DLC Reviews

In addition to a couple of new reviews of the base game, the weekend also brings us several more reviews of Fallout 3's The Pitt DLC.

The first is at GameZone with a score of 8.0/10:
Fallout 3: The Pitt is one of the best add-on missions yet that overshadows the first download even with its problems. The Pitt is a dark, hellish landscape and you will love every minute you are there. If you can look past the glitches, you are in for a wild ride that makes Fallout 3 an even better place to revisit.

The second is at Toronto Sun with a score of 3.5/5:
The Pitt is a fun (if fleeting) addition to the Fallout 3 universe, although it will be too easy for veteran players and may ultimately leave fans wishing for more.

The third is at GamePro Arcade with a score of 4.5:
Flaws aside, The Pitt is still an enjoyable experience. This more story driven DLC is an enjoyable diversion from the main Fallout 3 plot. And unlike Operation: Anchorage, when you've completed your mission your time in The Pitt isn't over. You can visit your new friends any time you want and make trades for ammo and caps, extending the life (and value) of this latest downloadable content.

The fourth is at Feed Your Console with a score of 10/10:
It's nice to see that the production value and standards from the rest of the game translate to the DLC. There's plenty to do and see for such a small amount of money and in this day and age you want value for your dollar. This is truly an awesome addition to an already epic tale. I can't wait to get into Operation Anchorage and the next chapter, Broken Steel, which is slated to come out sometime this April-May.

And the fifth is at The Xbox Domain with no score:
Overall The Pitt is a must buy for anyone that has Fallout 3. It is exactly the gameplay you are looking for with 3 added perks and a slew of new armor and weaponry including the eviscerating Auto Axe. I guarantee you will come away from your purchase pleased. At just 800 Microsoft Points [$10] I believe The Pitt gives you plenty of new campaign experience. So if you have not picked up Fallout 3 in a while, pop it back in and get back into the game with The Pitt.
