Scars of War Lore Update

A new update on the Scars of War developer blog reveals a further bit of lore for The Golden Fields of Mirtar.

As Gideon stated, the situation in Mirtar is a mess. Reports of growing banditry are coming in from all over the realm, and the estimates for the harvest yield are less than half of what they were three years ago. Yet the nobles still squabble in the capital over the succession. And they insist that a full third of the army fortify the city while they do so, in case the Lethani somehow sneak a force across half of Mirtar to attack Endhaurvar again. It is madness.

Two primary groups appear to have emerged amoungst the nobility. Lord Amadir leads the moderates, he speaks of rebuilding Mirtar as it was under Dheron. His view is hardly unique but he is an eloquent speaker and well respected. He's winning over many of the traditionalists in the nobility, the ones who simply want to return to the status quo.
