If the game's current graphics are a true measure of its overall state, my first impression is that Star Wars: The Old Republic is in the pre-Alpha minus stage (yes, I just made that last bit up). Hey man -- I loved the Jedi Knight games as much as the next guy, but this is 2009, baby! I know that everyone doesn't have a DX10 capable video card, but by the time this sucker rolls out, they probably will. As far as content goes, The Old Republic is in the same ship as Star Trek Online. There's just so much source material to draw from that it's impossible to justify not having enough live content ready to keep players hooked for at least a year.
