- How did you find your way to RED?
Xymek: It's quite a long story. A friend of mine was already working at RED as an animator and during one of our chit-chats it turned out that they were looking for new people to work on The Witcher. From the very beginning I was really excited about the whole idea, so the very next day I sent in my CV, clearly showing the fact that at this time I had a very cosy position at a financial company. When I had passed the recruitment phase I quit that job in a minute. It was a brave leap considering the fact that I was hired for just a month to see if I was able to do the work. Nevertheless, right now you are reading an interview with me, which means that I did well and I stuck around. Now I can I say that it was one of the best decisions I've made in my life, and that's why I always tell people that taking a risk pays off.
- And what exactly do you do?
Xymek: Mainly? Nothing ! Of course I'm joking :P Right now I'm in charge of the QA team that is responsible for testing Rise of the White Wolf (Big up to Magda, Paweł and Jedrzej for their great patience). I recently had to move myself to France for a couple of months to work with the guys at Widescreen Games. I'm even redesigning some of the music in the game.
