World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King Reviews

A few more reviews of Blizzard's World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King expansion pack hit the web over this past week. The first is at RPGamer, where it scores a perfect 5/5:
The game is everything that a MMORPG expansion should be, adding story, gameplay, and thousands of new quests for players to complete, along with a plethora of new dungeons and an involving new story. If there is one thing that can be said about Blizzard, it is that the company can consistently take something that seems like a solid game as is, and then completely remake and improve it, seemingly at will. While the fee structure hasn't changed, the game definitely has, and it's worth picking up to experience those changes.

The second is at Game Chronicles with a score of 9.9/10:
Blizzard has added yet another phenomenal game to their list of achievements. Wrath of the Lich King has all the components necessary to hold the attention of the gaming community for several years to come...or at least until Blizzard decides which game we're going to be playing next.

And the third is at Computer Games Romania with a score of 93/100:
For those of you who gave up WoW already, speculating that you did it because you're bored of the routine and you'd rather spend the time you used to give to WoW, no matter how little that is, doing other stuff, I can't recommend your return to Azeroth for the simple reason that the essence of the game is just the same, and this expansion doesn't revolutionize anything.

It's just an improvement that gets as close as it can to what would be called perfection for the pattern that currently convinces over 11 million people pay a monthly subscription in order to be part of the biggest, most consistent MMORPG universe on the market, period.
