World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King Review

Boomtown brings us their review of World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King, though it reads about as favorably as the others we've seen. The score is 9/10, with these closing comments:
All of the new additions that Lich King provides are expertly executed and will provide hours of new content to seasoned players. The one down side to this expansion is its lack of options for lower level characters. The Burning Crusade gave you two new races with new starting zones that players of any level could jump into and experience straight away. Lich King offers nothing like this, and even promised additions like the Inscription profession and the barber shops were added in a recent patch and are available to all players regardless of whether they have the expansion or not. While this is a cool freebie, it doesn't leave any real reason for less experienced players to buy into the expansion pack straight away. The hardcore, of course, will already be flying their bone gryphon over Crystalsong Forest as they read this.
