I continued on my way and some zombies climbed up the side of a cliff to assault me. They weren't just standing around waiting for me like in Diablo II. Most of the groups of enemies you run into above ground--in this demo, at least--are feeding on corpses. After dispatching them I came to a cathedral, and a dying adventurer told me that the Skeleton King was returning to life in the cathedral ahead of us.
Not if I had anything to say about it.
Running into the cathedral, I saw an Igor-like character speak to an apparent cultist of the Skeleton King about the crown of the Skeleton King. Placing the crown on the king's head would return him to the corporeal world--and allow me to kill him.
