The guys at videogaming247 were able to quiz Blizzard's Tom Chilton about their World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King expansion. In their usual fragmented manner, increasing the level cap (has to be part of the formula) and hardcore-casual (power gap) is reset with level cap increases:
