Dragon Age: Origins GC Preview

IGN takes a look at BioWare's upcoming Dragon Age: Origins at the Games Convention.
Another way the character class played into the game was the interactions that took place in town. While the human noble was treated with respect by most everyone, Elves are second class citizens in the world of Dragon Age. The mage character was taunted and talked to with a tone of resentment on more than one occasion. Only another mage recognized the character's sizeable talents and paid her respect.

We only had a brief look at the equipment screen where armor and weapons could be dragged directly onto the character. The press reaction in Germany was overwhelmingly positive with a number of self-proclaimed Baldur's Gate fans smiling in approval. Tudge mentioned that the game would support a world builder and that we'd learn more about the game in due time.
