Mass Effect PC Reviews

Three more favorable reviews of the PC version of BioWare's Mass Effect kick off the new week. The first is at RealGamer with a score of 9/10:
On the whole Mass Effect offers a great playing experience with lots of opportunity for exploration and intense shooter action. The games storyline is gripping and will keep you wanting to play and as the game is set in a galaxy the game offers a lot of value. Overall an excellent action role-playing game.

The second is at Gamers' Creed with a score of 5/5:
Aside from the inventory design flaws, Mass Effect is a brilliant combination of storytelling, roleplaying, and action. It will draw you in and put you on a rollercoaster ride toward a fantastic conclusion. As a side note, I highly recommend you seek out as many side missions as you can find. While the main storyline runs lean at about 10-15 hours, there are a lot of optional missions that will keep you entertained for quite a while longer. I clocked in over 62 hours before I completed the game. It's also the best way to raise your character's level and equipment.

And the third is at Fragland with a score of 89%:
If I can be very rude for a second, I find Mass Effect an alternative version of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. Remove The Force and add Mass Energy, inject a new story and replace the combat system with something real-time. The result on the other hand feels good and is what every RPG should be, except for the Miko of course. A lover without Xbox360? Then this version is certainly your thing!
