Pirates of the Burning Sea Wrap Report

RPGVault has a wrap report for Pirates of the Burning Sea, the MMO Flying Lab Software launched back in January.
High-Level Goals
The primary goals were:
- Kick ass ship combat
- PvP that affected the world
- A robust economy which didn't require mindless clicking
- Telling great stories through content

We have a lot more elements we'd like to deliver on, but these are what we considered the core experience that we would focus on for ship. If you try to deliver too much, you deliver a mess, so we wanted to create a solid foundation on which to grow the game over time.

As for art direction, we wanted to create a painterly look to the world.
