Mass Effect Interview

Internode Games Network has tossed up a new Mass Effect interview they did with BioWare community coordinator Chris Priestly during a recent visit he made to Australia.
"I think we're doing pretty well with role-playing games and this is definitely the best thing we've done so far. Every time we make a game it gets better and better and we're really looking forward to this.

"You play as Commander Sheppard, the first human Spectre agent. Spectre agents are sort of this galactic peace keeper/black ops kind of guy. It's sort of like an uber policeman; working outside the law to maintain the law. You can whip in with the default male Commander Shepard or you can create your own identification. It's either male or female but you have to be human because the whole role is that you are the first human peace keeper. Humanity's fairly new to the galactic stage. There's a lot of ancient alien races; the Salarians, the Turians, the Asari that have been around for hundreds of thousands of years. This takes place in the year 2148. Not only are you trying to prove yourself as an individual but also as a representative of humanity."
