The Top 50 Video Game Weapons of All Time

As part of their Halo 3 coverage, UGO has compiled a list of what they feel are the top 50 video game weapons of all time. The odd list features several RPG-related entries, including BioShock's Wrench and Crossbow, Oblivion's Goldbrand, World of Warcraft's Thunder Fury and Booterang, and Knights of the Old Republic's Double-Bladed Lightsaber.
Lightsabers themselves are immensely powerful tools in both of the Knights of the Old Republic games. HK-47 is a lot of fun, but characters who can't carry around the Force's One True Weapon are basically second-class citizens. And there's no better way to increase your power than by using a Darth Maul-style double-bladed saber in the KotoR games. This is mostly because you could take the most powerful upgrade crystals, toss ?em into a double-blader, and get two blades' worth of power out of each crystal. Granted, the dual wield sabers looked great as well, but you had to use more crystals to get full power out of that setup. Either way, the mere thought of using goofy blasters or thermal detonators was laughable once you realized you could get five attacks per round with a little Force Speed and a double-blader.
