I REALLY wanted to like this game, and in a lot of ways I do. It still is fun, in that rewarding yet frustrating kind of way. But some of the later battles simply take too long to play for a handheld title. One of my battles chalked in at 1 hour and 15 minutes. I literally missed hitting a Bugbear for 7 straight turns. While not annoying in itself, what was annoying was trying to figure out the stats of what I was doing, so I could figure out WHY I was missing him. I think what it comes down to with a game like D&D Tactics is for someone to truly enjoy it, they need to not know all the underlying rules that govern the game. And for those of you that don't know the rules, Atari has included a built in help/about function into the game to help.
