Camelot Grab Bag Q&A and Announcements

In this week's Grab Bag Q&A for Dark Age of Camelot, EA Mythic's Missy Hatch answers several more questions about the game and then goes on to post several important announcements. Since the announcements cover a lot of different topics, I'll just quote the whole thing:
We have some new TL openings this week. Currently we're trying to fill the following positions: Necromancer, Bainshee, Enchanter, Reaver, and Eldritch. If you think you have what it takes, and you like mayhem and hobnobbing with game developers, click here.

Now that the Seattle Round Table is over and done with, we're getting geared up for the next one in Austin, TX. It's going to be BIG, because everything in Texas is BIG. If you plan on moseying up, be sure to RSVP so we order enough pigs in a blanket.

Next weekend, on September 9, Daamien and Sinnocent are hosting a Play on Tintagel Day. Even if you don't have characters on Tintagel, why not plan to head over and see what it's all about. Here's more info.

Well folks, if all goes well tonight with the Pendragon patch, we plan to push 1.90 live on September 5. If you haven't read up on the patch notes recently, you should. Also, check here for info on the new patching process. There's a lot of exciting stuff going in, including completely revamped keeps, towers, and bridges, DoT changes, and siegecrafting.

Imagine walking through your capitol city and bumping into an NPC with YOUR name. It could happen, if you enter and win our Put Your Name in Camelot Contest.

So what is the BIG ANNOUNCEMENT in this week's Grab Bag, you ask? Why am I giddy in my seat as I type this? It's because I'm finally able to answer the burning question on everyone's mind. Well, what seems like everyone, anyway. That question is: Are you planning on clustering Tintagel? The answer, my friends, is YES! After seemingly endless internal discussion fueled by a constant (and rather insistent) flow of player feedback, we have decided to cluster Tintagel with Killibury. We need to get the proper hardware in place, though, so it certainly won't be happening for 1.90. The very tentative plan is to complete the clustering in late September or early October. More details are sure to follow, but we wanted to get the news out to you as soon as possible, so the two clusters can start making friends (and enemies, of course!).

Have fun playing this weekend, and don't forget to finish up those Dragon Campaign quests!
