ArenaNet has announced that players who pre-order Guild Wars: Eye of the North will have the opportunity to play the expansion pack a week early. The "sneak peek" will occur over a three-day weekend and any experience and loot acquired during this time will be retained for when the game goes live on August 31st. If you're going to pick up the expansion anyway, this sounds like a good enough reason to pre-order it.
