World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King Previews

GameSpot and 1Up have each posted short previews of World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King, based on what was revealed about the expansion at this year's BlizzCon. An excerpt from GameSpot's article:
At level 80, you'll be able to do a quest chain similar to an epic-mount quest, which will tie in to the game's lore involving Arthas, and this will let you use the death knight. Once you've done this, you'll start at a relatively high level (possibly somewhere between 55 and 70). You'll get a solid set of starting spells and abilities to "rip stuff up" with right off the bat.

And an excerpt from 1Up's article:
The biggest news for existing players is the introduction of the Death Knight, the first new class since WOW's launch -- and, coincidentally, its first Hero Class, too. Other big new features include the introduction of siege weapons and destroyable buildings in both a new Battleground and a brand-new outdoor PVP zone. What Wrath of the Lich King won't have is any content for new characters: no new races, no new level-1-to-20 zones back in the old world, and little change to the old world.
