You are in full control of your character's movements. You control where you run and where you aim. You are able to execute short-distance dodges and long-distance rolls. Basic attacks are executed with your mouse buttons only, whereas advanced spells are cast by pressing particular button combinations; i.e. forward, backward, left mouse button, much like the aforementioned beat 'em ups. In addition, spells can be chained together creating devastating combos. Heavy attacks will knock your enemies to the ground or send them flying. These enemies will, of course, have their own strategies, constantly moving, dodging and employing numerous dangerous skills of their own to bring you down.
