TeamXbox has whipped up a somewhat mediocre review of Codemasters and Triumph Studios' Overlord, giving the game an overall score of 6.9/10.

I really wanted to like Overlord, because it has the potential for gameplay that is fun and creative and, in fact, there are times when the title really nails it. Unfortunately, there are too many times that it can't get out of its own way or it makes you scratch your head. The concept is there in spades; it's the execution that doesn't go the distance.
