The Elder Scrolls IV: Shivering Isles Team Q&A #4

RPG Vault is offering up a fourth team Q&A with various members of the Elder Scrolls IV: Shivering Isles development team.
Q: Within your work on The Elder Scrolls IV: Shivering Isles, what are a couple of things that stand out for you?

Megan Sawyer, Associate Artist: I really enjoyed creating the settlements. I loved doing Relan's House in Fellmoor. Since he was in Dementia and a game hunter, I got to clutter his house with blood pools, skulls and tools everywhere, and the buzzing flies. Alternately, my favorite Mania house to create was Zoe Malene's in Hale. She's an insecure painter who paints frequently, but never finishes anything and is too shy to display it. I can totally relate.

I'm especially proud of how the settlement buildings turned out. When I was working on them, I had just gotten the basic form and preliminary textures down, and I rendered it out. A coworker passed by and said "Oh cool that looks like something from Silent Hill!" That's one of the best compliments I have ever gotten, being the huge Silent Hill fan that I am.
