As an RPG Jade Empire doesn't have the greatest amount of technical depth you have a limited choice of templates and not a huge amount of variety when it comes to upgrading them but the depth of story and its epic scale make the relatively straightforward combat easy to forgive. If you have a love of story-driven games and any kind of interest in the Mythical East then Jade Empire is sure to please; and if you've already played through the Xbox version when it came out then the long wait for the PC version should certainly make the proposition of an upgrade more tempting, if only for the experience of replaying the game with some minor improvements and sharper visuals.
