World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade Reviews

Three more reviews for Blizzard's World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade expansion pack bring us into the weekend. The first is at Game Revolution with an overall score of "B-":
Sure, you get a new continent, ten levels to gain, and hundreds of quests, but compared to EVE Online's upcoming free expansion (which includes a total graphical overhaul) it's easy to be a bit under-whelmed, and feel a bit overcharged. About as easy as, oh, playing WoW until 4:30 a.m. on a workday. Trust me, that's easy. We'll just have to hope Blizzard uses our newly spent millions to get Worlds of Starcraft up and running. Until then, we'll see you at 70.

The first is at Play.tm with an overall score of 90%:
High level player get a whole new zone to explore filled with masses of new things as well as two new races to play the whole game through again with and while lower level players can obviously hold off getting TBC for a while if they have no interest in the new races, at some point when they hit that level 60 roof and the lure of further adventures means they feel the need to enter the Dark Portal it will become an essential purchase. Which, I guess, is really all you can ask from an expansion pack, does it improve the original game, does it offer more content and does it do enough to become essential to the core experience. The Burning Crusade offers an emphatic yes to all these so there really is very little excuse for fans not to buy it.

The first is at GameZone with an overall score of 9.5/10:
The Burning Crusade is a fantastic way to extend your WoW experience, if you want to start a new character or continue to bulk up your existing one. If you play WoW in any context, then you definitely need to pick this up if you haven't already.
