Voodoo Extreme's 2006 Game of the Year Awards

Voodoo Extreme has published their 2006 Game of the Year awards, which includes nods for both Titan Quest and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Titan Quest walked away with the Best Action/Role-Playing Game and Best Art Direction awards while Oblivion took home Best Role-Playing Game, Best Graphics (Technology), Best Story, and Overall Game of the Year. An excerpt about Iron Lore's debut title:
As a huge fan of hack-n-slash role-playing-games, I couldn't help but fall in love with Titan Quest. There are been literally elventy billion Diablo clones released to date, but this is the first to do the genre justice. Some folks had tech problems out of the gate, but I wasn't one of them. Titan Quest is a ginormous title with heaps of replay value. With a good mouse and strong index finger, you can play Titan Quest for ages and not get bored. Collecting loot, making new characters and playing in co-op mode is a blast. If you like the genre, you can't go wrong with Titan Quest.
