RPGs in 2007, Part One

RPGDot has posted the first installment of a new feature that takes a closer look at the role-playing games slated for a 2007 release date. I just might break down and buy a PSP if it's the only way to play through a new turn-based tactical D&D RPG:
Dungeons and Dragons: Tactics Sony PSP Atari

Wizards of the Coast have been at it again, and this time they've laid their pointy hats upon the sleek, but fundamentally flawed PSP. Can they make the best of the dodgy controls and pins and needles inducing design, or will it be another PSP RPG to fall by the wayside.

All of the core races and classes will be available, in addition to two brand new Psionic classes, in the Psion and the Psychic Warrior as you take a party of six, through a (wide variety of dangerous environments) to experience (deep and exciting turn based action.) D&D: Tactics will make full use of the PSP's wireless capabilities as it will allow players to play through the single player campaign co-operatively or in a multitude of versus modes.

D&D: Tactics will feature highly customisable characters which you can trade with other players wirelessly, an involving and original storyline, a cornucopia of monsters out of the ever growing D&D bestiary and the promise of extending the gameplay experience with downloadable content. D&D: Tactics is set for a European and North American release on the 23rd March.
