GameSpy has put together a two-page preview of the Conall's Valley area in Funcom's Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures.
Players who choose not to participate in the Vanir/Cimmerian conflict will still find plenty to do in Conall's Valley. Numerous quests are available to be found that stem straight from Howard's lore. Kern Wolfeye, a character taken directly from the literature connected with the Conan license can be found here. Others spring from the characteristics of the fictional inhabitants of valley. Cimmerians find being captured by the enemy the greatest of humiliations. They'll often hide their women and children before heading for the battlefield. If they're losing battle, they'll sometimes run back and kill their wife and children themselves before the enemies can do so. At one point in the game, the players come across a spear stuck in the wall of a hut where such an event has took place, and a quest is spawned that urges the player to avenge the fallen warrior and his family.
